Role Overview

The Accounts & Finance Manager will play a vital role in overseeing all financial operations related to inventory management, product code processes, MIS reporting, and GST compliance. This leadership position demands a thorough understanding of manufacturing finance, regulatory frameworks, and effective coordination across departments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing financial teams and processes within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Stock Management

   • Supervise day-to-day accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods stock.
   • Maintain accurate stock ledgers and coordinate physical stock verification.
   • Implement controls to minimize inventory discrepancies.

2. Product Coding & Purchase Requisition (PR) Management

   • Design and maintain a product coding system across inventory and procurement.
   • Approve and ensure compliance for purchase requisitions.

3. MIS Reporting and Analytics

   • Prepare monthly and ad hoc MIS reports, providing insights for operational improvements.

4. GST & Statutory Compliance

   • Oversee the preparation and filing of GST returns, ensuring all documentation is accurate.

5. Leadership & Team Coordination

   • Mentor the accounts team and promote effective communication across departments.

6. Audit & Process Improvement

   • Coordinate with auditors and implement accounting process enhancements.

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting; CA Inter/ICWA/MBA (Finance) preferred

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial analysis
• ERP expertise in SAP, Oracle, Tally; advanced Excel proficiency
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and capable of working under tight deadlines
• Ability to ensure compliance and maintain accurate financial records
• Strong leadership abilities and experience in mentoring teams
