Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our Data Science team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with specific expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered applications that utilize modern AI frameworks and cloud platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our AI solutions are innovative, reliable, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/ML applications and Generative AI solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Create workflows for Agentic AI using advanced frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, and Gemini into business applications, ensuring effective functionality and performance.
• Build and maintain REST APIs utilizing FastAPI or Flask for seamless integration of AI systems with frontend applications.
• Implement vector search solutions with tools like Qdrant and Weaviate to enhance search functionalities in AI applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Scientists, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions that meet security and scalability standards.
• Optimize and fine-tune LLMs with techniques such as LoRA/QLoRA to improve performance and efficiency.

The position is based in Pune, Maharashtra, ensuring a hybrid working model that supports flexibility and productivity. Requirements

• Experience: 3-4 years in AI/ML development.
• Education: Graduation or equivalent; Post-graduate preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with REST API development.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI, particularly LLM applications and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and Hugging Face Transformers.
  • Practical experience with vector databases such as Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate, and FAISS.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, primarily Azure AI Services and DevOps tools like Docker and CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Experience with model tuning techniques and observability tools.
