Role Overview

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Android applications primarily for GreedyGame’s Incent App and the House of Apps portfolio. Your role will encompass developing user journeys that influence task completion, ad engagement, and reward systems. A successful candidate will possess strong technical proficiencies in Android app development and a keen understanding of business impacts related to user interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the development for Android applications focusing on offer discovery, task completion, and engaging user experiences.
• Implement ad monetization strategies effectively within the app without disrupting the user experience.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Growth teams to run experiments and ensure a streamlined onboarding process for users.
• Debug and resolve application issues that affect performance metrics, ensuring timely updates and maintenance of app functionality.
• Manage app performance to cater to high-volume user traffic while maintaining reliability across various Android devices.
• Oversee APK releases and ensure code quality and scalability in the growing codebase.

Salary

Estimated salary for this role is ₹80,000 - ₹1,20,000 per month, based on industry standards.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Android app development using Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Coroutines, Room DB, REST APIs, and Gradle.
• Experience building consumer-facing Android applications where performance, reliability, and user experience matter (minimum 2 years).
• Strong debugging skills for issues like crashes, ANRs, memory leaks, and API failures.
• Excellent knowledge of app lifecycle management, background tasks, push notifications, deep links, local storage, and app state handling.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and Growth teams to translate business requirements into stable Android features.
• Comfort working in fast release cycles with experiments and product iterations.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reward apps, cashback apps, gaming apps, utility apps, loyalty apps, fintech consumer apps, or offerwall products.
• Familiarity with ad monetization SDKs such as AdMob, AppLovin, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, and ironSource.
• Knowledge of event tracking and analytics tools like Firebase, GA4, AppsFlyer, and Branch.
• Experience optimizing apps for low-end devices and unstable network conditions.
• Understanding of application size optimization, remote configuration, A/B testing, and Play Store release management.
