Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, forward-thinking Application Architect with extensive experience in the .NET ecosystem and proven expertise in designing multi-cloud architectures (AWS and Azure). In this senior position, you will be instrumental in bridging complex business requirements with modern, scalable cloud technology. Your role will involve championing the adoption of Generative AI capabilities, optimizing developer productivity, and ensuring best practices are upheld across our engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & System Design

• Enterprise Blueprinting: Architect end-to-end enterprise applications leveraging .NET Core/.NET 8+ deployed across hybrid, multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
• Modernization: Lead initiatives to transform legacy .NET monolithic architectures into containerized, cloud-native microservices.
• Pattern Implementation: Enforce Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, CQRS, and asynchronous architecture patterns.

AI Integration & Developer Productivity

• AI Architecture: Design and integrate AI/ML capabilities into microservice ecosystems, using cloud-native AI services while ensuring data privacy and governance.
• GenAI & Orchestration: Architect solutions utilizing LLMs and automation frameworks compatible with .NET.
• AI-Driven Development Advocacy: Promote AI-assisted engineering tools, define governance for their use, and ensure code quality throughout software development cycles.

Multi-Cloud & DevOps Engineering

• Cloud Strategy: Optimize solutions for both AWS and Azure, advising on cost-efficiency and platform trade-offs.
• Managed Services Mastery: Architect solutions using cloud-native offerings, including components from AWS and Azure Stacks.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement environments using Terraform or CloudFormation/Azure Bicep for automated deployment.

Technical Leadership & Governance

• Mentorship & Quality: Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers to enhance the overall technical capacity of the team.
• Documentation & Standards: Create detailed Low-Level Designs (LLD) and High-Level Designs (HLD) for standardizing execution across teams.

Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 3 years as a dedicated Technical/Application Architect in enterprise environments.
• Core .NET Tech Stack: Advanced expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET Core Web API, Entity Framework Core, gRPC, and RESTful API management.
• Cloud Computing: Hands-on architecture experience in AWS and Azure with a strong understanding of computing versus serverless versus managed container services.
• AI Skills: Proven experience in implementing Generative AI features and using LLM APIs and vector databases.
• Containers & Orchestration: Profound expertise in Docker and Kubernetes (EKS and AKS).

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

• Practical experience with AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• AI Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate or equivalent AWS AI certifications.
