Role Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Applications Engineer to support our Inside and Outside sales teams. This role encompasses producing quotes and proposals for prospects and customers while providing crucial technical information and support necessary for our sales success.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret customer requests and determine equivalent c3controls item numbers based on manufacturer part numbers.
• Generate sales quotes from the ERP system efficiently.
• Engage actively in technical/application discussions through phone, video calls, and written correspondence.
• Prepare and demonstrate the functionality of company products for sales presentations.
• Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical support tailored to customer applications.
• Conduct internal training regarding products and applications for effective customer engagement.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure the successful specification and installation of both existing and new products.
• Serve as a vital technical resource, aiding customers and internal teams with inquiries and problem resolutions.
• Handle customer documentation requests pertaining to product compliance, including Country of Origin and HTS Code Requests.
• Update job knowledge by studying new products and leveraging educational opportunities.

Additional Information

• The position operates remotely with standard professional office equipment usage and involves occasional interaction during Indian shift timings (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST) to align with U.S. working hours.
• The role is full-time, running Monday to Friday, with no travel required but may include evening or weekend hours occasionally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Google Suite, etc.
• Preferred:
  • B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Industrial Engineering, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • Experience in reading electrical schematics and understanding specifications related to industrial controls.
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
