Role Overview

The Area Sales Manager will operate in the Bangalore and Chennai regions, focusing on marketing Metravi's innovative instrumentation products to target industries. The candidate is expected to foster relationships with client organizations, engaging with both purchase and technical teams, to drive sales and meet the company's strategic objectives. This position requires a proactive approach to understand and address maintenance challenges faced by customers, with the support of the Head Office team.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit targeted industries in the area to effectively promote Metravi products and achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client organizations’ purchasing and technical teams.
• Collaborate with the Head Office team to develop and secure customers in designated industries.
• Analyze maintenance problems faced by clients and propose viable solutions using Metravi instruments in coordination with the Head Office team.
• Support Metravi dealers within the area to enhance sales activities.
• Conduct product demonstrations and troubleshoot customer equipment issues as needed.
• Participate in industry exhibitions and events to showcase Metravi’s offerings.
• Monitor and report on competitor activities, developing an understanding of their products.
• Prepare monthly sales plans and forecasts to share with the Head Office.
• Engage in regular sales reviews to assess progress and strategy effectiveness.
• Develop tour plans aligned with monthly objectives and ensure compliance.
• Generate assigned reports and presentations for internal reviews.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs effectively.
