Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate Manager – SEO to join our Engagements team in Bangalore. This role reports to the Engagement Manager and is responsible for bringing SEO solution expertise into projects to ensure effective delivery of broad milestones as well as micro-level tasks. You will help achieve program KPIs and business goals for clients by combining technical SEO knowledge with strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and work on solution plans to ensure all deliverables go in a timely and effective manner to engagement teams.
• Formulate and use standard methods, frameworks, and artifacts to ensure quality standards of all deliverables.
• Produce outputs that are technically thought through and readily usable by internal or external project stakeholders.
• Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ business and industry, demonstrating this effectively in deliverables and internal/external discussions.
• Participate in client meetings along with the engagement manager to present/defend our solution POV.
• Participate in internal calls with US-based SMEs to understand and translate directions for complex/new approaches or analysis.
• Develop deep expertise in key deliverables: Keyword strategy, Content & on-page strategy, SEO forecasting, Technical analysis, and Link building & clean-up.
• Guide the team of analysts to follow SEO frameworks, processes, and templates, and contribute to evolving them.
• Introduce best practices to the team based on knowledge and expertise in digital marketing and SEO.

• SEO Tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Digital Marketing Platforms: Paid search, CRO tools, content management systems (CMS)
• Data & Analytics: Excel, data visualization tools, statistical analysis
• Proprietary Tools: ALPS™ (search-predictive efficacy platform), LEAP
• Methodologies: Keyword research, technical SEO audits, link building, content strategy, SEO forecasting

At least 5-8 years of experience in digital marketing with particular focus on SEO. 3+ years of recent experience in SEO will be a plus. Prior experience of working in client servicing will be a plus. Experience of content writing for marketing websites, campaigns and articles will be a big plus. Bachelor’s in quantitative disciplines from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute. MBA or Masters in Communications from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes would be a plus.
