Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate QA Engineer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The successful candidate will join our dedicated QA team, focusing on executing structured testing across our web and mobile applications. You will take part in the development of automation scripts using Java along with Selenium, contributing significantly to ensuring high-quality software releases through disciplined testing practices.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess a strong desire to learn and grow within the QA field. You will be responsible for owning assigned modules and collaborating closely with developers and business analysts to ensure reliable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Execution: Conduct manual testing across functional, regression, integration, and system levels for both web and mobile applications. Log defects with clear reproduction steps and verify fixes.
• Automation Testing: Develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts using Java + Selenium under the guidance of senior engineers. Contribute to the automation framework by enhancing stability and reusability of scripts.
• Mobile Testing: Execute functional and compatibility tests on Android and iOS devices, ensuring applications perform correctly across various OS versions and network conditions.
• Test Design & Documentation: Write and maintain comprehensive test cases, test data, and reports. Keep all documentation up-to-date in test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to clarify business requirements, actively engaging in Agile/Scrum meetings to communicate testing progress and any outstanding risks.

Requirements

• Experience: 2-3 years in software testing across web and mobile applications.
• Manual Testing: Solid understanding of functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Automation Testing: Experience in Automation Testing with Java + Selenium.
• Mobile Application Testing: Exposure to testing on Android and/or iOS platforms.
• Tools: Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools like JIRA and TestRail.
• Methodologies: Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good written and verbal communication.
• Learning Mindset: Willingness to adopt new tools, frameworks, and domains.

Good to Have

• Exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.
