Role Overview

As an Associate Software Engineer focusing on Salesforce, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing and maintaining Salesforce applications. This role is designed for individuals looking to grow their technical skills within the Salesforce ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions and enhance productivity through the effective use of Salesforce technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage your knowledge of Salesforce fundamentals to develop scalable and effective applications.
• Use Apex, SOQL, and DML for backend development while adhering to best practices in coding.
• Collaborate with team members to implement Flows for automating complex business processes.
• Conduct thorough testing of Salesforce applications and write Apex test methods to ensure stability and performance.
• Maintain documentation of development processes, ensuring clarity and transparency.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and AI capabilities.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of integration solutions as needed.

Tech Stack

• Salesforce Technologies: Salesforce Admin, Apex, Flows, SOQL, DML
• Programming languages: Apex, JavaScript (basic)
• Tools: Lucidchart, Draw.io, AI-assisted development tools
• Concepts: JSON, integration methodologies, Salesforce security concepts (OWD, roles, permission sets)

• 6 months to 1 year of Salesforce experience (Admin + Apex exposure).
• Good understanding of Salesforce fundamentals including standard objects & relationships, validation rules, formulas, email alerts.
• Hands-on experience with Flows is mandatory.
• Proficient in Apex, SOQL/DML, and simple trigger logic.
• Ability to write and maintain Apex test methods.
• Strong communication, documentation skills, and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow best practices and work with clear direction.
• Exposure to LWC or basic JavaScript.
• Consistent academic record of 75% and above.
• Basic understanding of AI capabilities within Salesforce (e.g., Einstein AI, predictive insights, or AI-driven automation) and a willingness to leverage AI tools for development productivity.

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of JSON and simple integration concepts.
• Experience with deployments.
• Understanding of Salesforce security concepts (OWD, roles, permission sets).
• Ability to create simple process flow diagrams using Lucidchart/Draw.io.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools or prompt-based coding assistants to enhance efficiency in Apex, flows, or configuration tasks.
