Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Associate Solution Architect to join our team at Iota Analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, cloud technologies, microservices, and distributed systems, along with an interest in solution architecture. In this role, you will work closely with senior architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, integrate, and implement scalable and secure technology solutions. You will contribute to architectural decisions, technical discussions, and cloud-native implementations while gaining exposure to enterprise-level solution architecture. This role is ideal for someone technically curious, proactive, and eager to grow into a full-fledged Solution Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior architects and technical teams to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.
• Assist in designing and developing scalable, reliable, and secure end-to-end applications and systems.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions on platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Support the development and integration of microservices-based architectures and distributed systems.
• Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions.
• Assist in evaluating technologies, frameworks, and tools and provide recommendations based on project requirements.
• Help ensure solutions follow best practices related to security, scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot technical and architectural issues and work with development teams to identify appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution design documents.
• Work closely with senior architects and developers to continuously improve existing applications and systems.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute ideas for improving the organization's technology landscape.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software development, technical architecture, cloud engineering, or similar role.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and exposure to Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Good knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, APIs, and system integration.
• Understanding of security best practices, scalability, performance optimization, and application reliability.
• Experience working with databases, APIs, and enterprise application integrations.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with developers, DevOps teams, senior architects, and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Good to Have

• Experience with Azure/AWS architecture and cloud-native services.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM/Bicep.
• Experience with messaging and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
• Understanding of monitoring and observability tools.
• Exposure to AI/ML, data platforms, or enterprise SaaS applications.
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS SA Associate, Azure certifications).
