Role Overview

We are seeking a Backend Developer with 2–4 years of experience to join our Tech Solutions team based in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer with strong expertise in Golang, microservices architecture, REST API development, Redis caching, SQL/PostgreSQL databases, and cloud platforms. You will play a key role in designing and building scalable backend systems that power our affiliate marketing platform, handling high-throughput data and ensuring reliability and performance. This role offers end-to-end ownership of features from requirement analysis to deployment and production support, working closely with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Golang microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to system design and distributed architecture decisions, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Implement Redis caching strategies and work extensively with SQL/PostgreSQL databases for data persistence and querying.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and E2E tests to ensure code quality and stability.
• Develop Shell/Bash scripts and contribute to CI/CD automation pipelines.
• Deploy and manage services on GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or equivalent cloud providers.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Own the complete lifecycle of features – from requirement understanding, technical design, development, testing, deployment, to ongoing production support.
• Stay current with industry trends and bring best practices in backend development to the team.

Tech Stack

• Languages: Golang (Go) – strong emphasis on concurrency, goroutines, channels, context, and error handling.
• Frameworks & Architecture: Microservices, REST APIs.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis (caching).
• Cloud Platform: Google Cloud Platform (or equivalent AWS/Azure).
• DevOps & Automation: CI/CD pipelines, Git, Shell/Bash scripting. Docker and Kubernetes are added advantages.
• Testing: Unit, Integration, E2E testing frameworks.
• Other: System design for scalability, availability, and performance.

• 2–4 years of backend development experience. • Strong hands-on expertise in Golang/Go and microservices. • Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems. • Good knowledge of system design, scalability, availability, and performance. • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Redis, SQL/PostgreSQL. • Strong understanding of Go concurrency, goroutines, channels, context, and error handling. • Experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing. • Good knowledge of Shell/Bash, Git, and CI/CD. • Practical experience with GCP or equivalent cloud platforms. • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. • Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
