Role Overview

AceNet Consulting is seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and Node.js, REST API development, PostgreSQL, cloud deployments on Microsoft Azure, and CI/CD automation. Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python (FastAPI/Flask/Django) and Node.js.
• Build robust, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Integrate backend services with frontend applications and third-party APIs.
• Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms following industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability for production environments.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Deploy and manage backend services on Microsoft Azure App Services and Azure cloud environments.
• Implement source control and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

6+ years experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) and Node.js. Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, database design, query optimization, and indexing. Experience integrating backend services with frontend applications and third-party APIs. Hands-on experience deploying applications on Microsoft Azure App Services and Azure cloud platforms. Experience using GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD automation. Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and backend security best practices. Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing backend applications. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
