Role Overview

AceNet Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer with over 6 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate will bring their deep knowledge of Python and Node.js into the mix, ensuring that applications are built robustly and efficiently while integrating with both frontend applications and various APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python (FastAPI/Flask/Django) and Node.js.
• Build high-performance RESTful APIs catered to enterprise applications.
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases through schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other engineering teams to integrate backend services.
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms following industry standards.
• Ensure that applications maintain high levels of performance and reliability.
• Manage deployments utilizing Microsoft Azure App Services.
• Control source code and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Participate actively in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Salary

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in backend application development.
• Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) and Node.js.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, database design, query optimization, and indexing.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications on Microsoft Azure App Services and other Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience using GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD automation.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and backend security best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps or other CI/CD platforms.
• Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus).
• Familiarity with caching technologies (Redis).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB or Cosmos DB).
