Role Overview

Houzeo is looking for a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to manage payment workflows, ensure accurate billing, and support vendor account tracking. In this role, you will maintain payment trackers, prepare invoices, monitor receivables, and generate insightful billing reports for leadership. If you are meticulous, spreadsheet-savvy, and can explain numbers clearly to non-financial teams, this opportunity is ideal for you. You will work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with exposure to real-time billing systems, vendor portals, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue and send accurate invoices on time
• Monitor accounts receivable and manage transactions
• Handle new contracts and ensure billing aligns with sales entries
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain billing accuracy
• Assist vendors with billing questions, concerns, and account reconciliations
• Conduct monthly audits and pre-billing reviews to ensure data quality
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies by analysing sales order/purchase order mismatches
• Present insightful billing reports and revenue variances to leadership
• Participate in billing process improvements and automation projects
• Reconcile invoices with reports and proactively troubleshoot errors
• Own and optimise the entire billing cycle to support Houzeo’s financial integrity

Tech Stack

• Electronic Billing Systems: Proficiency in invoicing workflows and electronic billing platforms
• Spreadsheet Tools: MS Excel (advanced functions like pivot tables, lookups, formulas) and Google Sheets
