Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Billing Engineer to join our on-site construction team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing the billing cycle from tendering to the final submission of bills, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations. The role demands a meticulous approach to managing costs, timelines, and documentation while liaising with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Billing and RA Bill Management: Prepare and process all contractor, subcontractor, and client RA bills, managing the full billing cycle from measurement recording to payment follow-up and certification.
• Quantity Surveying and Documentation: Conduct quantity surveying across various civil works, prepare measurement books, and compare executed work with approved drawings, documenting any variations.
• Cost Estimation and Control: Develop precise cost estimates and monitor project expenses against budgets while identifying and mitigating any potential overruns.
• Material Procurement and Reconciliation: Work with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials, reconciling all material usage against billing to minimize discrepancies.
• Reporting, Records, and Compliance: Maintain organized billing records and prepare financial reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate effectively with site engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure all billing and measurement queries are addressed promptly.

Tech Stack

• Software & Tools: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel (advanced skills), MS Word, and familiarity with construction billing software (e.g., Tally, ERP 9, CostX).

Requirements

• Education: B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Experience:
  • 7–8 years of relevant experience for B.Tech candidates.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience for Diploma holders.
• Proven experience in billing and quantity surveying for civil construction projects.
• Strong understanding of measurement practices and IS/PWD standards.
• Experience with commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
