Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on HIS (Hospital Information Systems) and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) implementation projects. The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the healthcare IT sector. This dynamic role involves extensive interaction with stakeholders and requires an in-depth understanding of healthcare workflows to ensure successful implementations.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting various stages of the implementation process, from requirement gathering to go-live activities, playing a crucial part in facilitating smooth transitions in healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document comprehensive business and functional requirements from stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flows, user stories, and workflow documentation to guide project execution.
• Map and analyze clinical and administrative workflows, identifying areas for improvement (As-Is and To-Be models).
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and hospital users to ensure clarity in requirements and project progression.
• Prepare and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases, track defects, and validate fixes to maintain high standards of deliverables.
• Assist with data migration efforts to ensure seamless transitions and support user training sessions effectively to aid system adoption.
• Ensure comprehensive support during go-live and stabilization activities to guarantee user satisfaction and operational continuity within healthcare settings.

Tech Stack

• Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and JIRA for documentation and project management.

Salary

Estimate: ₹80,000 - ₹1,20,000 per month

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
• Exposure to HIS, EMR, EHR, or healthcare IT projects.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Understanding of hospital operations and clinical workflows.
• Familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, or similar tools.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hospital implementation projects.
• Exposure to UAT, data migration, and go-live support.
• Healthcare domain knowledge or Business Analysis certification.
