Role Overview

We are looking for a Manager – Business Development & Application to join our Hadapsar office. This is a full-time, office-based role with extensive travel across PAN India as per project requirements. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of business development activities—from inquiry generation to regular sales closure—while providing technical and commercial expertise to customers in the EV component sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background coupled with an MBA, allowing them to bridge the gap between technical solutions and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end business development activities from inquiry to order conversion
• Manage technical and commercial discussions with customers in the EV components industry
• Understand customer technical issues and provide suitable solutions
• Clearly explain technical concepts and solutions to customers
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical presentations
• Coordinate with internal teams (design, production, quality) for smooth project execution
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across India
• Identify new business opportunities and market trends
• Perform back-office tasks including documentation, MIS reporting, and CRM updates

Tech Stack

• CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) – for understanding customer drawings
• PLM/PDM systems – for managing product data
• ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) – for quotation and order management
• MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) – for proposals, presentations, and reporting
• CRM tools – for lead tracking and customer relationship management
• Understanding of EV component standards and testing protocols

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Production Engineering + MBA (preferably in Marketing or Operations)
• Experience: Prior experience in business development or application engineering in automotive/EV industry is preferred
• Willingness to travel extensively across India
