Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to propel the growth of RHIA's engineering services and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities, generating high-quality leads, and fostering long-term relationships with clients. This role demands a professional with a robust background in B2B sales, particularly in sectors related to embedded systems and IoT.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Embedded Systems, Industrial Automation, Electronics Product Development, and IIoT solutions.
• Generate and qualify leads through various channels including, but not limited to, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and email campaigns.
• Build strategic relationships with OEMs, startup firms, and manufacturing organizations, acting as the primary point of contact for client engagement.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand customer requirements, customizing technical solutions to meet specific needs.
• Maintain updated sales records and customer data using CRM tools.
• Represent RHIA at various exhibition events and customer meetings, promoting our engineering services and products.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, adapting strategies to capitalize on new business opportunities.
• Achieve set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Tech Stack

• Embedded systems and hardware development environments.
• Microcontroller platforms such as STM32 and ESP32.
• Technical knowledge of PCB design and firmware development.
• Experience with CRM tools for pipeline management.

Salary: ₹50,000 - ₹75,000 per month

Work Location: Bangalore, India (In-person)

• 3-6 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management, ideally in embedded systems, IoT/IIoT solutions, hardware/PCB design, or industrial automation services.
• Strong technical understanding of embedded systems, IoT/IIoT architectures, and related development processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation preferred) or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
