Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager with 6-10 years of experience in IT Services Client Acquisition. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, approaching and converting new clients for our Software Development, Mobile App Development, Web Development, SaaS and Custom IT Solutions. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of acquiring IT clients through LinkedIn, referrals, networking, outbound sales and other lead-generation channels. Candidates with an existing professional client/prospect network and a lawfully sourced database of business contacts that they are permitted to use will be preferred. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities for IT/software development services.
• Identify potential clients and decision-makers through LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Generate leads through LinkedIn, client references and referrals, cold calling, email campaigns, networking, industry events, and online lead-generation platforms.
• Contact CEOs, Founders, CTOs, CIOs, Product Managers and other technology decision-makers.
• Understand client requirements and identify suitable IT solutions.
• Schedule and conduct client meetings and product/service presentations.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial negotiations in coordination with the technical team.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects and convert qualified opportunities into projects.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
• Maintain accurate lead and opportunity information in the CRM.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual business-development targets.

Required Experience & Skills

• 6-10 years of proven experience in IT Services Business Development / Client Acquisition / IT Sales.
• Proven track record of acquiring new clients for software or IT services.
• Strong experience with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Excellent cold outreach, email marketing and lead-generation skills.
• Strong client relationship and networking abilities.
• Experience selling services such as Mobile App Development, Web Development, Custom Software Development, SaaS Development, Cloud Solutions, UI/UX Development, IT Consulting.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to independently identify prospects, generate meetings and close business.
• Experience working with CRM and sales tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, Apollo or similar platforms.
• Preferred: Existing professional client network, lawfully sourced prospect database, ability to generate business through referrals and existing LinkedIn connections relevant to IT/software services.
