Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Category Manager to join our team in Gurgaon. This pivotal role is instrumental in discovering and onboarding premium gourmet and organic brands, focusing particularly on the fresh food ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive network and a deep understanding of various categories such as fresh fruits and vegetables, organic produce, functional foods, and gourmet products. You will play a crucial part in expanding our product portfolio and establishing long-lasting relationships with brand owners, farmers, and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and establish connections with premium gourmet and organic brands.
• Source high-quality fruits, vegetables, and healthy food products to expand our offerings.
• Build and maintain relationships with farmers, producers, and aggregators.
• Evaluate potential products and onboard the right partners for long-term collaboration.
• Contribute to the growth of our product portfolio by selecting the best brands and products for our platform.
• Leverage your network to enhance our vendor sourcing processes and improve procurement strategies.

This role is ideal for someone who breathes fresh produce and understands the gourmet food market intricately. If you have a strong background but limited experience in fresh produce sourcing, this may not be the correct fit for you. • Experience Required:
  • 3–7 years in Category Management, Vendor Sourcing, Procurement, or Business Development.
  • Strong experience in Gourmet, Organic, Fresh Produce, Food Retail, or FMCG.
  • Existing network with premium food brands, farmers, or distributors will be a strong advantage.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in vendor management systems and analytics tools.
  • Understanding of supply chain dynamics in fresh produce.
