Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and growth-oriented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our IT team in Pune. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a mid-level IT professional with substantial hands-on experience in cloud operations, primarily within the AWS framework, as well as managing on-premises infrastructure and Microsoft 365 environments. The successful candidate will benefit from structured mentorship and knowledge transfer from our seasoned infrastructure team, positioning them for future growth into a Senior Cloud Operations or DevOps role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Operations — AWS

   • Manage and monitor AWS cloud infrastructure components including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, and Route 53.
   • Perform routine cloud operations including provisioning, patch management, backup management, and performance monitoring.
   • Monitor the health of the cloud environment, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot incidents within defined SLAs.
   • Oversee cloud cost management and optimization using AWS Cost Explorer.
   • Maintain comprehensive cloud documentation including runbooks and SOPs.

2. On-Premises Infrastructure

   • Manage day-to-day operations of on-prem servers, networking equipment, and storage solutions.
   • Conduct server health checks and OS patching; troubleshoot networking issues.
   • Collaborate with vendors for hardware procurement and IT asset inventory management.

3. Microsoft 365 & Collaboration Tools

   • Administer Microsoft 365 environments including user management and access control.
   • Provide technical support for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
   • Troubleshoot issues for end users and manage conditional access policies.

4. IT Support & Service Desk

   • Deliver L1/L2 support to internal users and manage IT tickets through ITSM tools.
   • Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding processes.

5. DevOps & Automation Learning Track

   • Develop skills in CI/CD practices and basic infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
   • Write automation scripts to optimize operational tasks.

Compensation

Salary: ₹33,333 - ₹66,667 per month (based on skills and experience).

• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud operations (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch)
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Experience in Windows Server administration and basic Active Directory management
• Strong troubleshooting skills for cloud and on-premises systems
• Excellent documentation and communication skills in English
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Good to Have Skills:

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification
• Basic Linux server administration knowledge
• Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Freshservice
• Exposure to automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
