Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Deployment Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a hybrid role, requiring a mix of remote work and office presence. As a Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software deployments across development, staging, and production environments. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment tasks, and ensure smooth, reliable releases. This role requires deep technical expertise in modern deployment practices, cloud platforms (especially Azure), containerization, and infrastructure-as-code. You will work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and operations teams to drive release excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordinating, and executing software deployments across development, staging, and production environments
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments
• Configure and maintain deployment environments, infrastructure, and supporting tools (containers, orchestration, cloud services)
• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable releases
• Automate repetitive deployment tasks and improve release efficiency and reliability
• Document deployment procedures and infrastructure configurations
• Manage release processes, including versioning, change management, and rollback strategies
• Monitor deployments in real time, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability post-release
• Continuously evaluate and improve deployment processes, tools, and best practices

Hands-on experience with software deployment, release management and CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools with Azure DevOps (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD). Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes. Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure; AWS, GCP a bonus) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). Solid understanding of Git version control, branching strategies, and artifact management. Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues across application, infrastructure, and networking layers. Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Attention to detail, risk awareness, and structured approach to change management.
