Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Deputy Manager for Project Sales in the MEP Projects / Electrical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and managing all aspects of the sales process, including identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and closing deals. The role involves cultivating and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and consistently achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
• Understand MEP tenders/BOQs and submit competitive offers in coordination with the team.
• Attend meetings and engage in techno-commercial discussions to understand client needs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through thorough market research and analysis.
• Collaborate closely with Consultants, MEP/Design Consultants, Architects, and end clients to foster relationships.
• Manage sales team operations, providing coaching, training, and necessary support.
• Build and sustain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and finance, to ensure successful execution of projects.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
• Attend industry events and conferences to remain updated on the latest trends and technologies.

Salary

The offered salary is between ₹50,000 - ₹1,25,000 per month, aligning with industry standards for such positions in the electrical sector in India.

Requirements

• Education: B.E./B. Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering + MBA
• Experience: 5 to 10+ years in sales, preferably in MEP Projects and DG sales.
• Skills:
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of MEP contracting and DG sales industry, including products, services, and market trends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel as needed
