Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at CloudifyOps, you will be a crucial part of the organization, applying your expert skills and influencing team members to increase overall productivity and effectiveness. This role requires you to lead and contribute to defining industry-standard best practices for cloud and DevOps within the team. Key Responsibilities

• Own the quality of cloud and DevOps architecture, design, and delivery of client engagements.
• Design automation for cloud and DevOps operations and processes using appropriate tools.
• Advise on implementing cloud and DevOps best practices, providing architectural and design support to the team.
• Break down complex issues or problems into simpler, straightforward solutions for engineers to execute.
• Assist in technical and design meetings with clients to facilitate adoption of cloud and DevOps tools and practices.
• Take ownership of end-to-end development and implementation quality by managing dependencies and focusing on technology best practices.

5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps & Cloud. Experience assisting in designing and developing cloud & DevOps practices on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Expert in implementing CI/CD pipelines with various DevOps tool sets. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory/Nexus) and source control (Git - Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab/SVN). Experience creating continuous delivery practices using Terraform/ARM Templates/CloudFormation. Excellent knowledge of infrastructure configuration & automation tools (Ansible). Experience designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies. Kubernetes expertise is must; knowledge of Service Mesh, Tracing, Helm Charts is an added advantage. Strong expertise in operating Linux environments and scripting languages (Shell). Good presentation and communications skills. Be willing to be challenged and learn new skills.
