This is a hands-on DevOps Engineer role based in Pune, Maharashtra, focused on supporting HPCWorks applications across various environments including Dev, QA, staging, lab, and customer-like setups. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience and a strong commitment to learning and professional growth across DevOps, SRE, cloud, Kubernetes, and platform operations. You will work closely with development, QA, operations, and platform teams to ensure smooth deployments, robust monitoring, and efficient troubleshooting.
1-3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, system administration, infrastructure support, or deployment support. Demonstrated experience with Linux, CI/CD, cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, and automation. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, operations, and platform teams. Required Technical Skills: Linux administration, including services, logs, permissions, networking, package management, and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, or similar platforms. Kubernetes fundamentals, including pods, deployments, services, namespaces, logs, and troubleshooting techniques. CI/CD tooling experience with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms. Scripting capability using Bash, Python, or a comparable language. Foundational knowledge of networking, security, monitoring, and logging. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications or an advanced degree is preferred, though not required.
