Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at Innovecture, you will play a vital role in expanding our technical team while working remotely from India. You will leverage your expertise to resolve complex technological problems while collaborating across various teams within Innovecture and its clients. Your main focus will be on enhancing automation practices and streamlining CI/CD processes, ensuring efficient application deployment and management. Strong technical know-how is essential to troubleshoot issues that arise within diverse production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor incidents and manage ticket queues, troubleshooting and completing assignments as necessary.
• Act as the main point of communication for stakeholders regarding existing issues, ensuring transparency and timely updates.
• Implement and optimize automation frameworks within CI/CD pipelines, driving efficiency and effectiveness in deployment processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Facilitate onboarding and migration of applications into designated pipelines, coordinating closely with development teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues, working collaboratively with developers to enhance deployment strategies.
• Conduct continuous improvement on engineering tools and data security measures in collaboration with teammates.
• Maintain flexible working hours to accommodate project requirements, including a potential need for weekend work when agreed upon.
• Cultivate a resourceful and analytical approach to problem-solving, especially during high-stress workload periods.
• Foster eagerness for continuous learning of emerging technologies that the team may adopt.

• 4+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or a related software-engineering role
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong experience with automation tools for CI/CD (especially GitHub Actions and Jenkins)
• Proficient in Docker and containerization technologies
• Experience deploying and debugging applications in Kubernetes environments
• Familiarity with Apigee or equivalent API management tools
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools
• Experience with Linux systems and environments is a plus
• Understanding of incident and change management tools like CA Service Desk
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical colleagues
• Cloud native experience, preferably with AWS or Azure
• Working knowledge of Groovy, PowerShell, Git, GitHub, NodeJS, Angular, .Net, and .Net Core is beneficial.
