Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our remote team in India. In this role, you will be an integral part of both Innovecture and client projects, addressing complex technology challenges with your technical expertise in DevOps practices. You will be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, deploying applications, and automation of workflows using various tools and technologies. Your capacity for troubleshooting and optimizing production environments will be critical, and collaboration with development teams will be key to achieving project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy jobs using TFS release manager on Windows platform utilizing PowerShell and Groovy.
• Create build jobs using MsBuild, Angular, NPM, etc.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks, particularly for CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize static analysis tools, such as SonarQube, for quality assurance.
• Conduct dynamic security scanning using tools like OWASP ZAP or BlackDuck.
• Troubleshoot production issues, working closely with development teams to enhance code deployment processes.
• Resolve deployment challenges including IIS/App Pool recycles, CPU/disk space issues, etc.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates and manage expectations.
• Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, particularly for project support during weekends or out of hours when necessary.

• Languages: Groovy, PowerShell, NodeJS, Angular, .Net, .Net Core
• Tools: Git, GitHub, TFS, Jenkins, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, BlackDuck, MsBuild, Apigee
• Practices: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• 4+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software engineering role
• Working knowledge of Groovy, PowerShell, and known DevOps tools like Git and GitHub
• Strong command of software automation production systems (TFS & Jenkins)
• Good knowledge of NodeJS, Angular Builds, NPM, .Net and .Net Core
• Understanding of transformation tools like MsDeploy, XPath transform, Json transform, etc.
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Experience using Apigee or similar API management tools
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools

Good to Have:

• Linux system experience
• Incident management tool experience (e.g., CA Service Desk)
• Kubernetes deployment and debugging experience
• AI project implementation experience
• Apache/Tomcat, Windows/IIS, F5 LB web application support
• Understanding of web application security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
• Effective communication skills in cross-functional teams
• Experience with cloud native technologies, preferably AWS
