Role Overview

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of detailed electrical Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design Construction (VDC) projects. This position demands a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and team collaboration, ensuring that our electrical designs meet industry standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed electrical BIM/VDC models using Revit and associated software.
• Create electrical room layouts, equipment placements, cable tray configurations, and underground conduit routing plans.
• Produce accurate electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, and comprehensive construction documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams, including mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural stakeholders, to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Conduct clash detection and model coordination activities to identify and resolve design conflicts proactively.
• Ensure compliance of project models with client standards, industry best practices, and specific project requirements.
• Support project teams by providing constructability reviews and recommendations for design optimization.
• Actively participate in coordination meetings with clients and project stakeholders during U.S. working hours to align on project goals and requirements.
• Maintain meticulous project documentation and ensure timely delivery of all project milestones.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design, drafting, installation, or BIM/VDC project execution.

• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Understanding of BIM workflows, clash detection, and model coordination processes.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
