Role Overview

As an Embedded Engineer Intern, you will be part of a dynamic embedded engineering team responsible for the firmware powering our IoT controllers. This internship role is ideal for candidates looking to kickstart their career in embedded systems, and it offers a clear pathway to transition into a full-time role based on performance and expertise demonstrated throughout the internship. You will engage directly with mentoring from senior engineers, gaining valuable practical insights into the complete embedded development cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Test custom embedded models across our existing product portfolio, developing an in-depth familiarity with hardware behavior and firmware flows.
• Learn and apply embedded communication protocols (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C) in real-world applications.
• Write and debug embedded C code for IoT controllers, focusing on timing-sensitive logic and bit-level operations.
• Engage in hands-on projects such as building internal test kits to promote learning through practical experience.
• Collaborate with the Device Management Team (DMT) to ensure smooth project execution on a daily basis.
• Participate in code reviews to become familiar with safe coding practices suitable for timing-critical and OTA-sensitive code paths.
• Take ownership of modules and gradually assume larger development responsibilities over a span of 6–12 months.

• Strong learning appetite and curiosity about embedded systems
• Available to start immediately

Good-to-Have Qualifications

• Exposure to embedded protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, or CAN
• Personal or academic projects involving microcontrollers (Arduino, STM32, ESP32, etc.)
• Familiarity with bitwise operations and low-level memory concepts in C
• Interest in automotive applications and IoT
