Role Overview

The Estimation & Billing Engineer plays a vital role in supporting the Sales department and the Estimation Manager in various operational activities. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable in fast-paced environments and is capable of handling multiple tasks effectively while ensuring high standards of accuracy throughout.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating / Pricing (50%)

• Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural drawings for GFRC, GFRG, FRP, architectural stones, and ornamental items.
• Use Bluebeam software for marking up, measuring, and labeling materials according to established standards.
• Draft and review pricing proposals and scope of work in Excel, ensuring accuracy prior to management review.
• Gather pricing from external vendors for specialized projects.

CAD Drawings (15%)

• Collaborate with the sales department to create project-specific detailed drawings.
• Assist the marketing team in developing product drawings.

E-mails (ITB) Review and Acceptance (15%)

• Regularly monitor and manage Invitation-to-Bid e-mails and maintain active project bids.
• Manage project creation in Salesforce and MS Teams.

Sales Support (10%)

• Assist U.S. and India teams with daily Salesforce data entry and handle special projects as necessary.

General Operations (10%)

• Provide support across various teams for miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Work Environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture

Areas of Experience

• 2 to 3 years' experience in architectural estimation required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is preferred.
