Role Overview

The Estimation Engineer (Finishing) will be pivotal in the budgeting and estimating process for high-rise residential projects. This role entails detailed assessment and analysis to ensure that project costs are meticulously calculated and managed. The incumbent will report directly to the Estimation Manager or Construction Head, providing essential support in various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and conduct quantity take-offs specifically for finishing works.
• Estimate and analyze costs related to various activities including flooring, tiling, marble work, painting, waterproofing, installation of false ceilings, and other interior finishes.
• Review architectural drawings and specifications to ensure all aspects are covered in the estimates.
• Conduct comprehensive rate analysis and prepare cost estimates that align with project budgets.
• Evaluate and compare vendor and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
• Collaborate efficiently with Procurement, Contracts, and Site teams to maintain alignment and project continuity.
• Develop tender documents and execute commercial comparisons to identify the best options for the company.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering within projects to optimize costs without compromising quality.
• Maintain comprehensive estimation reports and documentation for reference and auditing purposes.
