Role Overview

As a Frontend Engineer (SDE 2/3) in Bangalore, you will own frontend systems end-to-end with no layers of process between you and what ships. You will be responsible for architecture, code quality, performance, and reliability of mobile applications. This is an ideal role for an engineer who thrives on building animation-rich, user-centric experiences and solving complex technical challenges in the mobile space. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver a seamless experience to millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

• Own architecture, code quality, performance, and reliability for mobile applications end-to-end.
• Build animation-rich, devotional-first experiences using Reanimated, Lottie, and Skia.
• Drive offline-first capabilities including SQLite, MMKV, and smart caching strategies.
• Architect and modularize large-scale mobile applications for scalability and maintainability.
• Optimize performance through profiling, memory management, and startup time reduction.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs, including LLM-based personalization and ML-driven features.
• Manage iOS and Android build pipelines, including OTA updates, CI/CD, and release management.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in React Native ecosystem and mobile development.
• Ensure seamless performance across devices and network conditions, especially for users in emerging markets.
