Role Overview

The IT Infrastructure, Networking & Digital Transformation Engineer will be responsible for managing and enhancing the IT ecosystems across corporate and factory units. This role will not only focus on traditional IT support but will entail leading digital transformation initiatives that involve modernization of manufacturing processes, improvement of productivity, and implementation of best practices in information security and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise IT Infrastructure
   Manage the comprehensive IT infrastructure across the corporate office and factory locations, ensuring robust performance with minimal downtime. Responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all IT equipment and networks.

2. Manufacturing IT & Automation
   Collaborate with production, avenues for technology improvements in manufacturing operations including ERP systems, SCADA, and IoT implementations to enable smart manufacturing.

3. ERP & Business Process Automation
   Study current workflows to identify automation opportunities, recommend ERP enhancements, and implement necessary changes to enhance business processes efficiency.

4. Software Evaluation & Digital Transformation
   Evaluate and implement software solutions that align with the organization’s goals for digital advancement. This includes manufacturing software, ERP enhancements, and data analytics tools.

5. Internal Certification Program
   Lead the implementation of a digitized training and certification program within the organization to enhance employee skills and competencies.

6. Document Management System
   Standardize and maintain compliance in documentation practices by implementing a centralized document management system.

Mandatory

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• 5–12+ years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing plants.
• Strong knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure.
• ERP implementation/support experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Gummidipoondi and Ganeshapuram.
• Stable employment history with long tenure in previous organizations.
