Role Overview

The IT Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (L2) will oversee the administration and management of both Windows and Linux servers, ensure robust security measures are in place, and comply with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive in optimizing infrastructure performance and will have a strong background in IT services management.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management
  Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring consistent administration, patching, and performance monitoring. This includes the configuration and management of Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and VPN services to ensure seamless operations.
• Security Management
  Manage endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, EDR, DLP, and MDM services. Regularly review security alerts, conduct incident investigations, and coordinate remediation strategies. Implement vulnerability management and patch compliance programs to uphold system integrity.
• Compliance & Governance
  Implement ISMS controls following ISO 27001:2022 and HIPAA Security Rule frameworks. Develop IT security policies and ensure alignment with compliance requirements during audits and assessments.
• Backup, BCP & DR
  Oversee backup operations and disaster recovery testing, ensuring that recovery procedures are regularly tested and maintained.
• Incident & Problem Management
  Manage escalations from L1 engineers, conducting root cause analysis for prevalent incidents, and orchestrating service restoration efforts during major outages.
• Vendor & Project Coordination
  Liaise with various vendors and service providers to evaluate and recommend tech improvements, aiding the implementation of new infrastructure initiatives.
• Reporting & Governance
  Analyze SLA metrics and prepare operational, security, and compliance reports to guide strategic decisions within the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Technology.
• Networking certifications such as CCNA are mandatory.
• Proven experience in managing Windows and Linux server environments.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001:2022, HIPAA).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
