Role Overview

The Junior Accounts Executive will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day accounting and finance operations across various group entities. This entry-level position demands strong numerical accuracy, a willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The person in this role will be involved in bookkeeping, invoice processing, banking coordination, statutory documentation, and management information system (MIS) support, making it a comprehensive position for professional growth in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Assist in maintaining the books of accounts for multiple group companies.
• Pass accounting entries in Tally/ERP systems and ensure accurate maintenance of purchase, sales, and expense records.
• Support ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations, aiding in month-end and year-end closing activities.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable Support

• Process vendor invoices and maintain accurate payment records, track receivables, and assist in payment follow-ups.
• Prepare ageing reports and outstanding statements while ensuring proper documentation for invoices and approvals.

3. Banking & Transaction Coordination

• Assist in preparing Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Handle banking documentation and transaction follow-ups and coordinate with banks for cheque deposits and RTGS/NEFT processing.

4. Payroll & Expense Assistance

• Support payroll data preparation, attendance verification, and verification of employee reimbursement claims.

5. Taxation & Compliance Support

• Aid in GST and TDS data preparation and ensure maintenance of statutory filing records.

6. MIS & Reporting Support

• Prepare basic MIS reports and Excel-based summaries while updating daily financial trackers.

7. Audit & Documentation

• Maintain organized financial documentation to assist during internal and statutory audits.

8. Multi-Company Accounting Support

• Assist in accounting activities across various group entities and help with inter-company transaction recording.

9. Process Coordination & System Support

• Ensure adherence to standard accounting procedures and internal controls while assisting with ERP/accounting software updates.

Compensation

Salary Range: ₹25,000 - ₹35,000 per month, based on experience, qualification, and skill set.

Requirements

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com preferred.
• Candidates pursuing or who have cleared CMA Inter / CA Inter will be given preference.
• Additional certifications in Tally, GST, or accounting software are an advantage.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Freshers with strong accounting knowledge and relevant internship experience are also encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and bookkeeping processes.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Understanding of invoice processing and banking operations.
