Role Overview

The Deputy Manager / Manager – Key Accounts will lead the entire sales and operations lifecycle for the assigned territory. This role is responsible for driving business development, managing a sales team, executing strategic plans, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a result-oriented professional with 2–5 years of B2B/project sales experience, a postgraduate degree in marketing, and a proven ability to manage key accounts. This role reports to the Branch Head – Sales & Operations and oversees sales and sales operations team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete sales and operations process: qualification, pre-sales, pitching and presentations, pricing, proposals, negotiations, execution, and closure.
• Lead salesforce management: set targets, plan to achieve, coach and mentor the sales team, and keep the team prepared for organizational decisions such as expansion and new product introductions.
• Keep top management informed on staff development, key market conditions, sales forecasting, competition and competitor analysis, relevant territorial issues, sales analysis and improvements, and strengthen business contacts.
• Develop and implement sales strategy and planning for the allocated region.
• Monitor and control business-related expenses.
• Drive business growth and ensure timely project completion.
• Arrange market activities: tradeshows, product introductions, and other promotional events.
• Conduct sales training for team members.
• Identify and manage strategic partners.
• Perform financial and sales reviews.
• Manage receivables and ensure business retention.
• Oversee stocks and supply chain deliverables.
• Provide customer support and handle key client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with sales processes, order management, logistics, delivery, and collection.
• Track KPIs: strategic business planning, business development, customer experience and efficiency management, financial performance, leadership and people management (attrition, training, development), risk management (penalty/operating loss), percentage of new markets/products sales, percentage of deals closed from new leads, percentage of target quota achieved, branch new sales revenue percent, branch total revenue, branch cost management, and branch footing growth.
