Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow key accounts in the building materials and construction industry. This role is critical in enhancing our relationships with key stakeholders, identifying business opportunities, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in B2B sales, client relationship management, and business development, along with a robust network among industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture relationships with key customers and strategic accounts to foster long-term partnerships.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through direct prospecting and market analysis.
• Develop strong connections with architects, interior designers, builders, developers, contractors, and procurement teams.
• Generate specifications and project inquiries for our product offerings.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, order closure, and follow-up on payments.
• Conduct regular visits to clients and project sites to understand their needs and uncover opportunities for collaboration.
• Track upcoming construction and commercial projects in Mumbai and surrounding areas.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Sales, Technical, Operations, and Dispatch for smooth order execution.
• Achieve defined monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and maintain accurate records of account activities, sales pipeline, and project status.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing strategies, and customer requirements to adapt our approach accordingly.
• Foster long-term customer relationships to enhance repeat business and customer loyalty.

Salary

• Experience in the building materials, construction, architectural products, or related industries is preferred.
• Strong network among architects, interior designers, builders, developers, contractors, and project consultants.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to independently generate leads and convert them into business.
• Good understanding of the Mumbai construction and real-estate market.
• Willingness to travel within Mumbai and nearby project locations.
