Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced LC-MS/MS Operator / Analyst to join our Quality Control team in Noida. This role is pivotal in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting our LC-MS/MS systems while performing accurate analytical testing of honey, food, and other samples. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS, a strong background in analytical chemistry, and familiarity with NABL/ISO 17025 quality systems. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely, precise, and well-documented results.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor LC-MS/MS instruments per approved SOPs and test methods, including startup, shutdown, tuning, calibration, and performance verification.
• Prepare mobile phases, standards, reagents, and samples using techniques such as QuEChERS, Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), and Liquid-Liquid Extraction (LLE).
• Create and manage analytical sequences, sample batches, and monitor chromatograms for retention time, peak shape, ion ratios, and system suitability.
• Perform analysis for residues and contaminants including antibiotics, pesticides, veterinary drug residues, and adulterants (e.g., SMR, TMR).
• Review analytical data, identify out-of-specification results, and conduct repeat analyses, investigations, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain complete and accurate records—raw data, worksheets, logbooks, and instrument logs—in compliance with GLP, GMP, and ISO/IEC 17025.
• Participate in method validation, verification, recovery studies, precision studies, and measurement uncertainty activities.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, check pumps, autosampler, columns, source cleanliness, gas supply, and vacuum performance; coordinate with service engineers for major repairs.
• Manage inventory of columns, solvents, standards, consumables, and spare parts.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.

• Hardware: LC-MS/MS (triple quadrupole / ion trap), HPLC/UHPLC systems, Autosampler, Mass spectrometer source, Vacuum pumps
• Software: Instrument control and data acquisition software (e.g., Analyst, MassHunter, Xcalibur or equivalent), Chromatographic integration and data processing tools, Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Analytical Techniques: MRM/SRM transitions, Calibration curves, Quantification, System suitability testing, QC sample analysis

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology. 2–5 years of experience as an LC-MS/MS Operator / Analyst. Experience in an NABL-accredited laboratory is preferred. Experience in food, honey, pharmaceutical, environmental, or residue testing is an advantage.
