Role Overview

As a Lead Automation QA Engineer at Circana, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality software deliveries through robust testing frameworks. You will be responsible for leading automation initiatives and influencing best practices while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. This position requires a candidate with significant hands-on experience in automation technologies, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the automation testing efforts, develop and implement testing strategies to align with the project requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks for functional, regression, API, and performance testing.
• Automate web applications, APIs, and web services using tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, and JMeter.
• Write and maintain test scripts using Java and JavaScript, catering to various test scenarios.
• Execute performance testing and analyze results to inform development teams.
• Conduct database testing to ensure data integrity through SQL and PostgreSQL validations.
• Integrate and optimize test automation within CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins and Git.
• Lead a team of automation testers, providing mentorship and reviewing their work for quality assurance.
• Identify opportunities for improved test automation coverage and drive refinements in efficiency and reliability.
• Analyze test results comprehensively, debug potential issues, and document defects using project management tools such as JIRA.

• 7-10 years of analytical experience preferred - Retail knowledge a plus.
