Role Overview

As a Lead Engineer in the Data & AI Engineering team, you will be at the forefront of developing groundbreaking data products and solutions. You will lead a team that is responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of data solutions within an Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of data products and solutions for the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to design and implement robust Data, BI, and Analytics solutions.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL stored procedures, participating in performance tuning and optimization activities.
• Oversee the implementation and development of Cloud Data Warehouse solutions, particularly in Snowflake and Redshift.
• Facilitate data migration processes from RDBMS, S3 to Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
• Ensure adherence to security and data privacy standards while designing, building, and configuring data solutions.
• Maintain familiarity with cloud technologies, predominantly AWS, to enhance our data architecture.
• Stay engaged with cutting-edge ML/AI technologies and implement them within the framework of data projects.
• Use BI tools like PowerBI, Looker, and Hyperion for presenting data insights effectively.

Shift timings are primarily between 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, though these may vary depending on business needs. The role allows for working from home until the office reopens. Ideal candidates will be based in Bangalore, ensuring minimal disruption when moving back to office arrangements.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Experience: 7 to 12 years in Data Engineering and Data & BI solution development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Proficiency in SQL and complex SQL stored procedures, with experience in performance tuning.
  • Expertise in Snowflake Data Modelling, ELT (dbt SQL/Snowflake SQL), Informatica, and Fivetran.
  • Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS and S3 to Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS).
  • Knowledge of programming languages and technologies such as Python, Pyspark, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and AWS S3.
  • Experience with Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence technologies (preferred).
  • Experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Looker, Hyperion) would be beneficial.
• Certification: Snowflake Certified Professional (preferred).
