Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Liaisoning Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination between our project sites, government authorities, and consultants. The Liaisoning Engineer will oversee all statutory approvals, address regulatory challenges that may arise during construction, and ensure adherence to local laws to prevent project delays.

Key Responsibilities

• Drawing & Design Review: Scrutinize architectural plans to confirm compliance with local Development Control Regulations (DCR), the National Building Code (NBC), and environmental guidelines.
• Approval Management: Prepare, submit, and track sanction drawings through municipal software systems like AutoDCR and BPMS, securing approvals for building permissions, CC, Plinth Checking, and OC.
• Area & FSI Calculations: Accurately calculate and verify FSI, TDR, and BUA statements to optimize project efficiency.
• Authority Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with Town Planning departments, Municipal Corporations, and Fire Departments.
• Internal Collaboration: Collaborate closely with architects, draftspersons, and the legal team to modify drawings as required by authorities.
• Regulatory Updates: Keep teams informed of new building bylaws, zoning laws, and government policies that may affect projects.
• Government Approvals: Process necessary permits, NOCs, and clearances from local governing bodies.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Compliance Tracking: Monitor regulations and ensure the company remains compliant with changing laws.
• Dispute Resolution: Proactively resolve site-level disputes and regulatory roadblocks.
• Reporting: Maintain an updated database of regulatory documents and provide regular status reports to senior management.

Salary

The compensation for this role is competitive and falls within the range of ₹25,000 - ₹35,000 per month.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in a liaisoning or regulatory compliance role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of local building bylaws, statutory approval processes, and legal documentation.
• Software Proficiency: Skilled in CAD and MS Office.
• Communication: Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently between project sites and government departments.
