Role Overview

The Manager – Retail Sales & Operations will spearhead the operational, commercial, and customer experience strategies across all Ramalaya Centres. This pivotal role is designed to act as a central command for optimizing sales, enhancing conversion ratios, increasing average transaction values, and cultivating an enriching customer journey. The manager will play a vital role in developing sales teams, ensuring operational excellence, and driving continuous innovation throughout the retail network.

Key Responsibilities

1. Retail Sales Growth Management: Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales across all centres.
2. Store Operations Management: Oversee daily operations and ensure high standards are maintained at each outlet.
3. Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation: Guide the visual appeal of stores to create an inviting shopping atmosphere.
4. Storytelling & Sales Excellence Development: Elevate the sales experience by crafting compelling narratives around products.
5. Customer Experience Management: Enhance customer satisfaction scores through meaningful engagement strategies.
6. Training & Capability Building: Conduct training sessions aimed at improving team efficiency and performance.
7. Performance Monitoring & Productivity Management: Establish metrics to assess team performance and store productivity.
8. Inventory & Commercial Control: Ensure optimal inventory levels and control commercial aspects efficiently.
9. Innovation & Retail Growth Initiatives: Promote new ideas for retail growth and implement them effectively.
10. New Centre Launch Support: Provide support for the successful launch of new retail centers.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from ₹50,000 - ₹75,000 per month.

Requirements

• Education: MBA (Marketing/Retail/Operations) preferred or graduate with significant retail experience.
• Experience: 5-10 years in retail operations, ideally in airport retail, luxury retail, lifestyle retail, wellness retail, fragrance retail, or travel retail.
• Skills: Leadership in retail, strong sales management, operations oversight, exceptional customer experience skills, visual merchandising proficiency, effective team management, ability to develop training programs, and strong business analytics skills.
