Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Manager to join our team as a Healthcare Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between advanced multi-agent AI engineering and the clinical and operational workflows inherent in the Indian healthcare ecosystem. By leveraging your deep understanding of healthcare systems and your expertise in AI technology, you will contribute significantly to driving the clinical logic and evaluation frameworks needed to develop next-generation AI healthcare solutions. This position requires a blend of technical acuity, healthcare experience, and the ability to articulate complex workflows to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Solutioning & AI Architecture Support: Collaborate with enterprise AI architects to establish logic, datasets, and workflows that align autonomous AI agents with real-world hospital operations.
• Workflow Mapping & Transformation: Develop clear functional specifications to translate complex medical scenarios and clinical pathways for technology teams.
• Clinical Safety & Validation: Create and execute frameworks for clinical validation, ensuring LLM/Agentic AI performance meets the highest standards while addressing risks such as bias and exceptions.
• Regulatory & Standards Compliance: Guide teams to adhere to medical informatics standards and compliance protocols, essential for effective AI solutions in healthcare.
• Client Advisory & Change Management: Engage with healthcare executives to present AI roadmaps and facilitate the adoption of AI-enhanced workflows.
• Asset & IP Development: Document best practices and develop reusable assets to contribute to the improvement of healthcare practices in AI implementation.

Requirements

• Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Medicine (MBBS, MD, BDS), Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Management (MHA/MBA), or Health Informatics.
• 10 to 12 years of professional experience within healthcare delivery systems, health-tech startups, or healthcare IT consulting firms.
• Thorough understanding of hospital operations, Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and patient care pathways.
• Proven ability in workflow mapping and transformation of clinical scenarios into technical specifications.
• Experience in designing validation frameworks and risk mitigation for AI applications in healthcare.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards like FHIR, HL7, SNOMED-CT, ICD-10/11, and compliance protocols in India.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with healthcare executives and technical teams.
• Prior knowledge of deploying automation or AI tools in healthcare environments.
