Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Manual Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic SIMBA Team. As we experience rapid growth, we are looking for a professional who is passionate about maintaining high-quality standards in our products. This role is pivotal in shaping the user experience by ensuring our offerings are flawless, reliable, and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual test plans and test cases for the SIMBA platform, ensuring comprehensive coverage across all user flows.
• Conduct hands-on manual testing across various browsers and devices to verify new features, bug fixes, and overall product performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to identify, reproduce, isolate, and document defects, providing detailed insights for troubleshooting.
• Maintain well-organized QA documentation, including test cases, regression suites, and test reports to ensure transparency and traceability.
• Engage with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support teams to triage and prioritize issues based on user impact and severity.
• Participate actively in Agile processes such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to integrate QA throughout the development lifecycle.
• Carry out regression testing and oversee release validation to confirm product reliability before deployments.
• Constantly look for opportunities to enhance manual QA processes, improving test coverage and inter-team communication.

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while being an essential part of our team.

• B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing, especially in Web applications
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals including test planning, test case design, regression testing, exploratory testing, and bug reporting
• Experience working in Agile environments and with cross-functional teams
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong written communication skills for documenting defects and test results
• Familiarity with bug tracking/project management tools like Jira or Linear
• Experience using browser developer tools for debugging

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with accessibility testing and familiarity with WCAG guidelines
• Familiarity with text-to-speech technologies or audio-based products
• Exposure to test automation tools
• Experience validating APIs using tools like Postman
