Role Overview

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, ensuring they meet both internal standards and customer requirements. Your role will involve significant coordination with various functional teams and will require maintaining high-quality design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering drawings while ensuring compliance with internal standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, CRM, and Production to align design efforts with project objectives.
• Develop and maintain departmental design standards, SOPs, and technical documentation libraries.
• Manage digital files, perform audits, and maintain version control of drawings.
• Analyze weekly data on drawings, manage pending dispatches, and present status updates to management.
• Provide technical support for R&D initiatives, including prototype design and testing documentation.
• Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD or equivalent) for detailed design and drafting tasks.
• Identify opportunities for design process improvements and contribute to overall optimization.
• Prepare presentations, conduct data analysis, and produce graphical reports for management review.

• CAD Tools: AutoCAD (mandatory), SolidWorks and Creo (preferred)
• Office Software: MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
