Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Medical Sales Representative to join our dynamic field sales team in Chennai. This role is open to both freshers and experienced candidates who are passionate about the pharmaceutical and wellness industry. You will be responsible for managing and growing sales in the assigned territory (North Chennai or South Chennai), servicing an existing base of 200+ clients, promoting our product range, and identifying new business opportunities. This is a field-intensive position requiring regular travel within the territory, and a self-motivated, independent work ethic is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: Visit and maintain strong relationships with our existing base of 200+ clients in the assigned territory (doctors, pharmacists, retailers, and health practitioners).
• Sales & Promotion: Promote and drive sales of company products among existing and prospective clients through detailed product presentations and discussions.
• New Business Development: Identify, approach, and onboard new business clients to expand the customer base in North or South Chennai.
• Product Explanation: Clearly explain product details, benefits, and usage to stakeholders, focusing on the herbal, Ayurveda, and pharmaceutical product range.
• Target Achievement: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set for the assigned territory.
• Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate orders, pricing, and terms with clients to close sales effectively.
• Client Support: Handle client queries, provide ongoing support, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of visits, orders, and client feedback; submit regular reports to the reporting manager.
• Market Intelligence: Stay updated on company products, competitor offerings, and market trends in the pharmaceutical and wellness sector.

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) – for reporting, analysis, and presentations.
• CRM Software (if applicable) – for tracking client visits and sales activities.
• Mobile Apps – for field reporting, navigation, and communication.
• Digital Communication Tools (Email, WhatsApp) – for client coordination and internal reporting.

Additional Details

• Experience: Freshers welcome; experienced candidates also encouraged.
• Education: Graduate in B.Pharm, any medical/pharmaceutical-related field, or BBA in Marketing is preferred.
• Key Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, self-motivation, and willingness to travel.
• Requirements: Two-wheeler and valid driving license are preferred.
• Work Mode: This is an in-person, field sales role based in Chennai.
