Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled MEP Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and supervision of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on our high-rise residential projects. The candidate will play a key role in coordinating with various teams to ensure that MEP installations meet all standards of quality, safety, and compliance, and that projects are delivered on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

1. MEP Execution & Site Management

   • Supervise and manage day-to-day MEP activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
   • Coordinate closely with civil and finishing teams to mitigate execution conflicts and optimize workflow.
   • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining quality.

2. Planning & Coordination

   • Work with Project Managers, Architects, Consultants, and MEP Contractors to ensure smooth execution of works.
   • Review and assess construction and shop drawings prior to commencement to ensure alignment with project goals.
   • Participate in site meetings and address any technical challenges that arise.

3. Quality Control

   • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure MEP installations meet approved specifications and Indian Standards.
   • Coordinate testing and commissioning processes with relevant stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency.

4. Material Management

   • Oversee the procurement and timely delivery of MEP materials and ensure proper quality checks upon receipt.
   • Collaborate with vendors to optimize material usage and minimize wastage.

5. Testing & Commissioning

   • Lead the testing and commissioning of all MEP systems, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire Fighting systems.
   • Ensure all systems are functioning correctly before handover to the client.

6. Documentation & Reporting

   • Maintain comprehensive documentation of daily site activities, progress reports, and inspections.
   • Verify and process subcontractor bills and ensure accurate work measurement.

Work Location

• In-person at the project site in Mumbai.

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5-8 years of experience in MEP execution in the Real Estate/Construction industry, specifically in High-Rise Residential Building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP software.
• Strong knowledge of MEP execution, NBC, IS Codes, and relevant statutory standards.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills are essential.
• Willingness to work at project sites across Mumbai.
