Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Mobile Engineer with significant experience in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP/KMM). The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving the development of high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android. Your role will involve working in an agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams encompassing product management, design, and backend development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Build platform-specific UI using Jetpack Compose for Android and SwiftUI/UIKit for iOS.
• Implement modular, scalable, and testable applications following Clean Architecture and MVVM/MVI patterns.
• Integrate various APIs (REST/GraphQL), implement local databases, and unleash native features like camera, location services, and push notifications.
• Optimize applications for performance, ensuring low memory usage and battery efficiency.
• Collaborate with backend developers to implement API integrations and work closely with designers for creating pixel-perfect UIs.
• Develop unit, integration, and UI tests to guarantee code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers, contributing to a positive team culture.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, facilitate App Store and Play Store releases, and actively monitor application performance.

Requirements

• Experience: 8–10 years in mobile application development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong expertise in Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP/KMM).
  • Native Android development using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Flow.
  • Knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Experience with:
  • API integration (REST/GraphQL) and local databases (SQLDelight, Room).
  • Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI patterns, and dependency injection.
  • CI/CD pipelines knowledge and experience publishing apps to the Play Store/App Store.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Compose Multiplatform and Spec-driven Development.
  • Contributions to open-source Kotlin Multiplatform projects are a plus.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
