We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. This role is critical in connecting on-premises factory floor systems with cloud platforms, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance networking for our AI edge devices, cameras, and IoT sensors. You will work closely with plant OT/automation teams and cloud architects to build hybrid, multi-cloud, and low-power networks. The position requires 50-60% travel to client sites during requirements, implementation, and troubleshooting phases.
Networking Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, MQTT, SNMP, OPC UA, OPC DA, Modbus, Profibus, RTSP Hardware & Devices: Cisco routers/switches, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, NVR/DVR, SAN/NAS, IoT devices, IP cameras, load balancers Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Monitoring & Management: Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds Scripting & Automation: Python, PowerShell OT/IoT Platforms: Rockwell, Honeywell, PTC Kepware, Litmus, Crosser Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA Additional Knowledge: Software-defined networking (SDN), VLANs, VPCs, VPN tunnelling, IP whitelisting, hybrid/multi-cloud connectivity, OT network integration
Experience: 5+ years in network engineering roles. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of relevant experience as a Network Engineer. Strong understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, MQTT, SNMP. Good to have knowledge of OT protocols: OPC UA, OPC DA, Modbus, Profibus; and OT storage like NVR/DVR. Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks equipment. Good to have: IOT platforms (Rockwell, Honeywell, PTC Kepware, Litmus, Crosser). Experience with network monitoring tools (Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds). Solid understanding of network security principles. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA; cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and connecting on-premises systems; knowledge of SDN; scripting with Python or PowerShell.
