Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Developer with deep hands-on expertise in BML scripting, Commerce, Quoting, and Pricing. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle CPQ solutions that drive enterprise commerce and quoting processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, QA teams, and integration specialists to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions. This is a production-facing role that demands a blend of technical depth, business acumen, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Oracle CPQ solutions using BML (BigMachines Language) to meet business requirements.
• Configure Commerce processes covering product selection, quoting, pricing, approvals, and transaction workflows.
• Design and implement business rules, complex calculations, validation logic, and approval workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to BML, pricing engines, commerce rules, and quote lifecycle.
• Translate functional requirements into technical design documents and configuration blueprints.
• Perform comprehensive unit testing and support UAT, integration testing, release cycles, and post-production monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with Business, Functional, QA, Integration, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and strictly follow development, version control, and release management standards.

Tech Stack

• Oracle CPQ (BigMachines): Core platform for configuration, pricing, and quoting.
• BML (BigMachines Language): Primary scripting language for customization.
• Oracle CPQ Commerce: Configuration of product selection, quoting, and approval workflows.
• Quoting & Pricing Engine: Business rules, discounts, pricing calculations, and validations.
• Integration Technologies: REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services.
• CRM/ERP Systems: Integration with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms.
• Document Generation: Automated quote and contract document templates.
• DevOps & Tools: Source control (Git/SVN), CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
• Project Management: Agile/Scrum methodology, JIRA, and collaborative delivery tools.

3+ years of hands-on Oracle CPQ development experience with excellent BML scripting skills. Strong understanding of Oracle CPQ Commerce, quoting and pricing workflows, business rules, and validation logic. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrations with CRM/ERP systems. Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to independently deliver production-ready solutions. Familiarity with Agile methodology, source control, and release management is preferred.
